WELCOME TO PAWRENT ADVENTURES

We’re Angela and Ryan, the pawrents of an Australian Kelpie/Pit Bull mix named Kona who we adopted in January 2021. 

We believe that life as pawrents doesn’t need to come with compromises, and adventures don’t need to be expensive or even far from home. We love anything outdoors, get pumped up about finding great deals, and especially enjoy seeking out local food spots for quality eats, beer and coffee. 

Prior to Kona’s homecoming, we were intentional about exploring as much of the San Francisco Bay Area as possible and wished to keep up that same level of adventuring together with Kona in our lives as well. 

But we realized pretty quickly that more preparation and research is necessary to adventure with a dog. What we didn’t anticipate was how hard it is to find reliable and comprehensive information on dog friendly places and activities – we were always piecing together incomplete information from multiple resources since what we needed just wasn’t easily available in one place.

We started Pawrent Adventures as a space for us to celebrate our experiences with Kona in the Bay Area and beyond, and we aspire to be an inclusive guide for all the different types of dog lovers out there – covering a wide-range of activities from the trailhead to the beach, the campsite to a pumpkin patch, shopping to happy hour.
